There was a small surprise when third ranked CroatianZadar (2-5) won against at home leader Serbian Mega BG (2-4) 88-73 on Friday. It was a key game for the top position in the league. It was an exceptional evening for Montenegrin point guard Vladimir Mihailovic (193-1990) who led the winners and scored 25 points, 6 rebounds and 4 assists. Lovro Mazalin (204-1997) accounted for 22 points and 6 rebounds for the winning side. Guard Savo Drezgic (193-2006, college: Georgia) came up with 21 points, 9 rebounds and 4 assists and American forward Jarrod West (182-1999, college: Louisville) added 15 points (on 7-of-8 shooting from the field) respectively for Mega BG in the defeat. Both coaches tested many bench players saving starting five for next games. Defending Croatian champion keeps a position of league leader, which they share with Derby. Loser Mega BG still keeps top place with four games lost. They share the position with 3 other teams.
